Uh oh, a nature vs nurture question!! This is a hard one to answer, coz even highly educated psychologists don’t have proof to back up either…
I think it’s about 50/50. You can encourage a child to do things earlier but there are also some kids that just want to take their time. My firstborn was slow developing physically, but he is top of his class of 90 kids.
