How Many Creationists Have Taken A College Level Genetics/evolution Class?
Just want to make sure that if you deny evolution you at least know a bit about it.
Not trying to argue for or against evolution, just asking a simple question about education levels.
As for me: I am currently a molecular biology and evolution and ecology double major at UC Davis

Education is the Achilles Heel of religion.
Probably very few. They would shun it just as I would shun a college level course about creationism. I realize that “know your enemy” is a good idea, but frankly, I’d rather study things that are of significance to me. I think it’s also true that creationists are generally sufficiently deficient in scientific education generally that they would not be admitted to such a course, if indeed they would be admitted to anything other than a Bible College.
Here’s the irony: creationists talk about “the lies of evolution” and consider themselves experts on it because they got some information from a creationist pastor, a creationist friend, or watched a creationist video. I suppose, though, that it doesn’t take much to stick your head in the sand and pretend your world isn’t threatened with real evidence and hard proof – you know, the kinds of things that God explicitly doesn’t use.
