Does anyone know of a good plant genetics Database?

I’ve been trying to look for a good database of plants that has their basic characteristics, along with some information about their genetics.
Does anyone know of a resource that is almost like Wikipedia but also contains information as to:
1. Whether the plant is a diploid, haploid, polyploid.
2. The number of chromosomes that plant has in each cell.

I’ve searched for a while now with nothing surfacing and thought I’d try you guys.

I am the only person in my family with blue eyes. The only person I have found looking back is my great great grandmother on my mothers side, the rest of my family has brown or hazel eyes. What are the chances of this happening? How does eye color work?
