In cattle, black coat color is dominant to white coat color. A farmer has a black male of undetermined genotype. How can the farmer determine the genotype of this black male?
Would the answer be that the farmer could have the black male mate with a white female or???

Recently, scientists discovered that a rare disorder called polkadotisim is caused by a bacterial strain, polkadotiae. Mice injected with this strain(p) develop polkadots on their skin. Heat-killed p bacteria and live D bacteria, a nonvirulent strain, do not produce polkadots, when separately injected into mice. However whe a mixture of heat-killed p cells and live d cells are intected together the mice developed polkadots. What process explains this result? Describe what is happening in the case of this outcome?
