In cattle, black coat color is dominant to white coat color. A farmer has a black male of undetermined genotype. How can the farmer determine the genotype of this black male?
Would the answer be that the farmer could have the black male mate with a white female or???

I know that it is a sex linked gene on the X chromosome, or I could be wrong. So is that why they tell you that if you look at your mother’s father that is a good indication? However, I have heard that the mother’s father is not the only indicator. Can someone please clarify?

Some people have bulky muscle’s and some people have wirey-like muscle…..Some people with the same amount of strength look really buff while others just look toned.
I am stronger than alot of people yet my muscle doesn’t seem to be bigger than theirs. Does genetics have a factor into this?
