This is just something that I have been wondering about for a while.
Say, for example, the father has identical twin brothers. Would this increase the chance of conceiving twins? Or is it more or less based on the mother’s genes? I tried looking this up elsewhere on the interwebs, but couldn’t find a specific enough answer. Thought maybe Y!A could help me out tonight :)
For the record, I’m not pregnant, nor do I plan on getting pregnant any time soon, I’m just curious.
Thanks in advance!

You know WS, current data indicates that the human race (Homo sapiens) MAY have originated in east Africa in the general region of the Rift Valley of Ethiopia/Kenya/Tanzania/Somalia. The oldest fossils of human ancestors (not exactly Homo sapiens, but other species which further developed to Homo sapiens). Also many of the oldest civilizations have origins in that region of the World as well. this has led scientists to speculate that Africa was the original source of origin of humans. However, it should be noted that much of the data have yet to be discovered and there are other sources of data which do have some conflict with the prevailing theories. Most notably, there have been fossils of Homo sapiens AND pre-sapiens creatures discovered in the Caucasus region of southern Asia and the Gobi Desert of western China, which are millions of years old. I am pretty sure that this is a question which shall remain unanswered for quite some time to come as more and more data are discovered around the globe. They are trying to form a picture of a jigsaw puzzle, having only a few of the genuine pieces of the puzzle to work with. The finished picture may be the Eiffel Tower or it may just be some kids erector set. More information is needed to see how those fit into the puzzle that we THINK may be the true picture.
Brightest Blessings,

I know it means I have to work harder to obtain one, however, does this mean that some people will never get a six pack no matter their diet, intensity of cardio, or ab workouts? If this is true, how do you break the bad genetics and get the sculptured abs you want regardless? Is this a myth?
